While watching original bassist Dee Dee Ramone shop for a Rolex in Europe or seeing the whole band visit an Australian zoo doesn't reveal much, the long-standing feud between singer Joey Ramone and guitarist Johnny Ramone that reportedly kept the two from speaking for most of the band's career is obvious - the two rarely even glance at each other in any of these clips, and never talk. The main program intersperses 15 live performances stretching from the late '70s to the mid-'90s with on-the-road antics mostly filmed by longtime drummer Marky Ramone. This is the first official Ramones DVD release, and even though it lacks a historical documentary about the band that might help newbies appreciate the Ramones' significance, the five hours of material will thrill people who are already fans of the punk legends.
